We met in the Archive Room in Printmaking and looked at Catherine's, Meital's and Jack's work. (Catherine and Meital, do you want to put a few images of your work on here? ... or send them to me and I will put them up).

Funding

We talked about applying for funding for next year so we can invite speakers, see exhibitions, or hold an exhibition. Meital will find out from Jonathan how much detail does the bid need to have, and whether we have to have firm plans.

Outside and In Between

When we read through the notes from the previous Artbar meeting, we thought that the unique thing about the group was that we did not see ourselves as cross or inter-disciplinary, but that we sat outside conventional boundaries of artisitc practice.

As such, we would want to hear from speakers who operated outside traditional boundaries, who perhaps promoted different methodologies of practice, or slipped between disciplines.

Opening Up

We agreed to open up the group to the rest of the college. Jack will draft an email.

It is also key to see ourselves outside the context of these two years at the RCA, and it might be a good idea to bring back graduates for meetings.

All agreed to host the Micropolitics group when they visit the RCA.
